Couple’s Bucket List:

When you are planning a wedding, it is easy to get so wrapped up in all the details of place settings, flower choices, the ceremony and the reception that you forget to spend time connecting and building a strong foundation for married life. This can lead to strains on your relationship and no one wants to start the rest of your lives together with strain on it. So, we have come up with a list of things you can do as a couple to take a break and reconnect with each other.

This one is probably the easiest and most do able one on this list. Take a break
from email, Facebook, and any wedding related phone calls for 24 hrs. Spend that time talking to each other about work or your passions or your favourite television shows or the latest book by your favourite author. Not only will this help you remember why you fell in love in the first place, it can help you come back to wedding planning refreshed and ready to go.

Have A Spa Day:

While this is a little more pricey, it could definitely be worth it. Carrying around all the stress from meeting with florist, caterers, wedding dress shopping, and all the other little odds and ends from wedding planning can really do a number on your body. By getting couple’s massages or facials, or even just taking a steam bath together, you can unwind while spending some quality time with your future spouse, and maybe even learn some tricks to help relax later.

Do a Food Tour:

Now hear us out. We understand you might be sick of tastings after tastings after tastings. However, by doing a food tour, especially if your city is known for a specific sort of cuisine, you can break the tasting rut and maybe even discover a new food you love. Maybe you have been dying to try Indian food? Or Maybe there is a great new Peruvian place which just opened? Or maybe you are tired to your bones of fancy food and just want diner food? Whatever it is, it can be a great way to take a break, try something new, and talk to your partner about what you are sharing.
